BIOGRAPHY

Kelly TIvey Interior Design is an award winning San Francisco Bay Area based design studio.  Kelly understands that great design doesn’t just happen.  It is the result of a carefully prepared and executed plan involving the collaborative efforts of design, trades, artisans and specialists.  By taking the time to get to know you and understand how you live, we are able to interpret and translate your vision into a functional and elevated reality.

With degrees in both Interior Design and Organizational Behavior, she is uniquely able to manage both the design aspects of a project and the all too important business side, streamlining the process and allowing for a smoother overall experience. She is NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) certified and a professional member of ASID.

Meet the Team


 

Christine Knott, Senior Designer

Christine is a crucial part of the collaborative design process. She creates the design drawings, which are essential tools to help clients visualize the finished space before construction and furnishing begins. She also coordinates with clients, reps, colleagues, and vendors to help ensure the process moves along smoothly. Christine’s 15-year background of working in the legal field, combined with her education Interior Design has brought a unique perspective to the very creative process of her 4 years as a professional interior designer.


 

Jennifer Shea, Junior Designer

Jennifer helps keep the design process smooth and organized! She manages our open order process and tracking, coordinates between manufacturers and receiving/delivery companies, organizes project samples and binders, and assists in design and schematic development. She also oversees the quoting process for project budgets and assists the senior designer in producing computer drafted plans and elevations. Jennifer’s previous experience in the world of corporate purchasing, combined with her education in Interior Design makes her particular skill set perfect for creating relationships with both clients and vendors alike.
