A busy teen wanted a room that would be the calming element that she was missing in every other aspect of her life. As a student, and a hi-comp athlete who travels around the country for competitions, her life is terribly hectic and somewhat rigid. She wanted a calming space to enjoy during her precious and very limited down-time. We chose a soft and graceful upholstered headboard as the focal point of our space. We layered soft grays and blush tones with inviting textures for softness. The lines of the night tables are simple with a slight curve for a touch of feminine styling, and the sheer silk chandelier with the crystals solidifies the soothing and feminine vibe. We kept the art and lamps simple for an uncluttered look.
