This extremely large kitchen benefited from a reevaluation of space, work zones, and storage needs. We removed the partial wall at the kitchen sink to create a large island. This not only opened up the space but also provided much-needed additional counter and storage space. We added windows in the kitchen area and the butler's pantry to bring in natural light and provide a view of the pool and yard outside. The previous bay window was extended to accommodate a large, wall-sized door that fully opens to the outdoors.
