Award Project Reveal: Lake Drive Primary Bathroom

Summary

This client wanted the master bathroom to feel light and serene. She gravitated toward modern clean lines, light neutral colors, and loved the idea of somehow including a pebbled floor. We opened up the space, utilized soft toned finishes, and improved the lighting to bring together her wish for an inviting space where she could go to relax.

Project Goals

Our goal for this project was to create a serene retreat where our client could go to relax. The year previous to this renovation was one of tragedy and loss for this client. Her husband passed away, and her only son went away to college. Finding herself alone in a big home, and in desperate need of moving onto a new chapter, she decided to take the leap and create something just for her.

Her biggest request was to create an inviting space with lots of light, and a calming color palette...and it must include a free-standing soaking tub. She said she wanted a "somewhat modern look", but she also liked river rocks, and her collection of heart-related objects. It was a tall order to translate all of these elements into a single, cohesive design.

Since 2015, I have helped over 100 interior designers, builders, builders, and architects – from those just starting out to award-winning designers published in Architectural Digest, Luxe, and more.

My process starts with what is already true within you, then brings it to life in a way that resonates with your ideal clients.

I work with designers because they’re awesome. I’m a member of IDS (Interior Design Society) and served on the board of the Virtual Chapter. Design events I’ve attended include High Point, Vegas Market, and BOLD Summit (Business of Luxury Design).

When I’m not creating brands and websites, you can find me listening to audiobooks and going on long speed walks with friends.
