Hanson Drive Kitchen

KITCHEN AND DINING MAKEOVER

2025, Pleasanton, CA.

Hanson Drive Kitchen reimagines a cramped 1990s Pleasanton layout for a family of four with teenage boys. Separate kitchen, eating nook, and family room merge into one open, light-filled hub after removing soffits, repurposing an under-used workspace and awkward nook for peninsula seating and counters, and adding a compact island with secondary sink. Dual sinks, optimized work triangle, 4x8-foot pantries, and adjacent fireplace dining create endless flow for cooking, homework, and gatherings, with a blue island adding client-requested cheer.
